Schools are recognized for achievement or growth in the percentage of students scoring at the Proficient Learner level or above in mathematics. The criteria for the Math Leader Awards recognize the crucial importance of numeracy skills in fifth and eighth grades and require higher growth from schools with lower achievement levels.
Awards are given at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Elementary and middle school recognition is based on students achieving the Proficient Learner level or above on the Georgia Milestones mathematics assessment. High school recognition is based on the Algebra: Concepts and Connections End of Course (EOC) assessment, which is the state test for mathematics in high school.
Soccer tryouts February 9, 10 & 11 on the field at Ivester Early College after school until 5:30. A bus will take the students to Ivester and parents will pick them up there. All students planning to attend tryouts must have a current physical and all required paperwork uploaded to DragonFly. Spring 2026 Season Track and Field Sign-ups are posted in front of Mr. Perillo’s classroom.
Try-outs and conditioning will take place Feb 9th-13th.
Teams will be announced Feb 18th and all fees will be due Feb 20th.

Girls basketball conditioning will be October 8, 9, 10, 16 & 17.
Boys basketball conditioning will be October 16 & 17.
Tryouts for both will be October 20-22. Boys at Ivester Early College and girls at WLA Elementary.
