Georgia Reads Week was a great success! We welcomed guests, including former students and teachers, to our school to read with our students. A UGA football coach sent our students a special bilingual message, and a UGA football player joined us via Zoom to read a book by Georgia Reads Week founder and former UGA football player Malcolm Mitchell.
Our 6th and 7th grade students visited WLA Elementary and Everwood Elementary to read with their reading buddies, and Atlanta United midfielder Adrian Gill sent our Toros an encouraging message.

¡Georgia Reads Week fue todo un éxito! Recibimos invitados, incluidos exalumnos y exmaestros, quienes visitaron nuestra escuela para leer con nuestros estudiantes. Un entrenador de fútbol americano de UGA envió a nuestros estudiantes un mensaje bilingüe especial, y un jugador de UGA participó por Zoom para leer un libro de Malcolm Mitchell, fundador de Georgia Reads Week y exjugador de fútbol americano de UGA.
