Cafe Mundo is tomorrow! Our 7th grade Culinary Arts class is busy today helping to prepare. The theme is Italian and the menu looks fabulous! ¡Mañana es Café Mundo! Nuestra clase de Artes culinarias de séptimo grado está ocupada hoy ayudando con los preparativos. El tema es comida italiana y el menú se ve fabuloso.

Yesterday, our band went to LGPE, or Large Group Performance Evaluation. They walked away with the highest scores they could get. They got superior ratings in all categories! Under the masterful tutelage of Dr. Chang and Mr. Rich, they are developing life-long skills and also a great work ethic! We are so proud of our musical Toros!

Our 8th grade Engineering class learned visual programming creating a simple game in Scratch today. Mr. Hernandez taught the students how to input the commands and the images performed accordingly. 💻 Nuestra clase de Ingeniería de octavo grado aprendió programación visual creando un juego simple en Scratch hoy. We now have a perpetual board to honor all of our teachers of the year at The World Language Academy Middle School. Monday night we did a riverboat cruise and dinner down the Savannah river. On Tuesday, we stopped at Jimmy Carter’s boyhood farm and high school. We also did some shopping in Plains, Georgia. What a great eighth grade Georgia history tour! El lunes por la noche hicimos un crucero en barco y cenamos por el río Savannah.
